Duron's process of tolerance grinding involves wheel track corrections which can change regular floor surfaces into Superflat floors quickly and inexpensively. Our process involves the measurement and analysis of existing floor tolerances followed by the selective grinding of transverse and longitudinal defects using our specialized and unique grinding equipment.
Over the past 25 years Duron has completed over 100 Superflat defined tolerance floor surfaces for new warehouses and while existing buildings may be brought up to Fmin100 tolerances with bonded toppings, grinding may be the only solution for many existing operating warehouse operations.

As shown above, the graphical representation on the left shows the pre-grinding profile of an existing FF20 floor with transverse defects. The diagram on the right depicts the profile of the floor after corrective grinding with all portions of the floor falling within the Fmin100 tolerance band.
