What We Did:  Mastic installation to 42,000 sq feet of above grade, outdoor parking garage.  Coloured aggregate was combined with the mastic asphalt to improve the UV stability of the outdoor areas directly exposed to sunlight, which also resulted in a more aesthetically pleasing product.

Challenges: Mastic Asphalt is not UV stable and is prone to cracking in the sun. To overcome this, our waterproofing crew added coloured aggregate to the mastic, which made the finish more aesthetically pleasing and increase the UV stability of the final product.
